Each year, I go to my aunt and uncle's for Easter. It's almost a two hour drive, but well worth it. My aunt goes all out, with games, a pinata, an Easter egg hunt, crafts, yummy food...well, you get the idea. Of course, most of this stuff is for the kids, but the umm...older...I mean, kids at heart adults enjoy it, too. Anyhow, I get my aunt a hostess gift each year because she really spends time and effort, not to mention quite a few pennies, to make it a fun day for everyone. This is the card I made to go with her hostess gift. I don't usually make a card to go with it, but when I got the papers and Magnolia image in a card kit swap with the Magnolia-licous group, it just seemed too good of an opportunity to pass up. The colors for this week's copic color challenge went with the papers so well, too! Oh, and here's the copics I used:
By the way, I am sorry for the crappy picture. The card is a bright pink background. That's purple, shimmery embossed paper behind the Tilda. The flowers are bright pink and light blue. Well, I guess it sure doesn't look that way in this photo, but what's a girl to do? Bad lighting gets me every time. I guess it would also help if I was any good at taking pictures!Anyway, as always, thanks for checking it out. I really do appreciate each and every comment! Have a happy Easter!
