Seas the Day!

This is just a quick post to show you the card I made for my wonderful friend Guylou's birthday. I made it several weeks ago, but mail takes a long time to get from Maryland to Toronto, so she just now got it. I didn't want to post before she saw it; it hardly seems fair that she'd see it online first or that others might see it before she did.

Happy birthday to a great friend who has helped me through some really rough times and continues to assist me with maintaining that tiny little leash that's left on my sanity. LUG!

About the card:
Image: Magnolia, colored with copics
Papers: Graphic 45
Other goodies: twine and pearls from my stash, mudd puddles around the image, edges distressed with distressing tool and inked with distress ink

G must have loved it - whats not to love!?! She is colored gorgeously and the sand around her is truly inspired! Love the saying with the image and the strand of pearls is perfect!
